Zien Group, the parent corporate company of Eden Hotels has unveiled its first hotel under an all-new brand of independent hotels with the debut of Jan Luyken Amsterdam: a boutique townhouse hotel in the heart of Amsterdam.

Zien Group will be the home of Eden Hotels and all future brands and businesses. Current Eden Hotels CEO, Billy Skelli-Cohen will lead Zien Group, which will be based in Amsterdam with offices in London.

Eden Hotels (“Eden”), the Dutch hotel group owned by KSL Capital Partners (“KSL”) and the Dijkstra family, announce today the appointment of Billy Skelli-Cohen (45) as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Léon Dijkstra announced his successor to the Eden Hotel teams this week, and his new role on the Supervisory Board. KSL’s recent (December 2021) majority investment in the group was to enable the combined ambition to grow the business and expand into Europe.

Drew Heimbrock is per 10 januari als ‘Director of Strategy and M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions)’ toegetreden tot het managementteam van Eden Hotels (Eden). In deze rol is hij verantwoordelijk voor de uitrol van de voorgenomen groeistrategie van Eden Hotels. Eden heeft de ambitie uit te groeien tot een Europees hotelbedrijf.

Eden Hotels (“Eden”), the Dutch hotel group owned by the Dijkstra family, announced today that an affiliate of KSL Capital Partners (“KSL”) made a majority investment into the group. The Dijkstra family will retain a significant minority stake in the group, and Eden CEO Leon Dijkstra will remain in his role in Eden Hotels. The combined ambition is to expand Eden Hotels into Europe. Terms of the investment are undisclosed.
